The picture to your left...is me..on a relatively good day..*lol*. I figure if you found this page..then you were follow music links...or maybe even got the chance to check out some of my music.

This page is about just that...my music and a little bit about me..

Where to start?..Well how about some background info on me..Ive been playing guitar for about 15 years..something like that I also can play bass, keyboards and little bit of drums. Ive been playing in bands since age 15. Some just garage bands waiting and dreaming and some bands that got alot of attention in this small vally I live in. Right now Im currently working on finishing my solo project cd. Ive been playing around the Pittsburgh area for some benifits and other charities.

A review of my demo cd "Lost"
When I first received this cd I immediately placed into the cd player with the intention of scanning each track like I do with everyday, but that is not what ended up happening. Within the first fifteen seconds of the first track, Another Day, my attention was fully captured. Needless to say, the song kept my attention throughout it's entirety. I have to admit that I was disappointed when the song was coming to the end, but after a few seconds I was pleasantly rewarded with the second track, Won't You. Both of these songs speak of heartache although not in the way most songs portray it. The lyrics clearly get their point across without making the listener want to lock themselves in the bathroom for hours. They are fairly upbeat in there own way and make you want to believe that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The cd continues with it's third track, For Momma. This song can't be describe any other way than a heart felt ballad that makes you think of the saddest times and the most precious times all at once. It doesn't contain any words, but it doesn't have to. Everything is said through the music and it couldn't be any more perfect. The next track, Can't You See, proves to be just as wonderful as the first three when it comes to the music and lyrics and grabs your soul just as much. The cd ends with a very well done rendition of Lynard Skynyrd's song Searchingâ„¢. Overall, this lyrics contained in the cd make the listener think with their soul and not with their brain. The music flows in a way that makes you want to close your eyes and just feel, maybe even rock back and forth. I would recommend this cd to anyone that can sit down, open their hearts, and let the music take them over. -Malinda Garrison

Janis Joplin Quotes:
"When I'm there, I'm not here," Janis said later. "I can't talk about my singing; I'm inside it. How can you describe something you're inside of?" -J.Joplin

"I'm a victim of my own insides. There was a time when I wanted to know everything. I read a lot. I guess you'd say I was pretty intellectual. It's odd, I can't remember when it changed. It used to make me very unhappy, all that feeling. I just didn't know what to do with it. But now I've learned how to make feeling work for me. I'm full of emotion and I want a release, and if you're on stage and if it's really working and you've got the audience with you, it's a oneness you feel. I'm into me, plus they're into me, and everything comes together. You're full of it. I don't know, I just want to feel as much as I can, it's what 'soul' is all about."-J.Joplin

"All my life I just wanted to be a beatnik. Meet all the heavies, get stoned, get laid, have a good time. That's all I ever wanted. Except I knew I had a good voice and I could always get a couple of beers off of it. All of a sudden someone threw me in this rock 'n' roll band. They threw these musicians at me, man, and the sound was coming from behind. The bass was charging me. And I decided then and there that that was it. I never wanted to do anything else. It was better than it had been with any man, you know. Maybe that's the trouble." -J.Joplin

"You can destroy your now by worrying about tomorrow." -J.Joplin

"I don't understand how come you're gone, man. I don't understand why half the world is still crying, man, when the other half of the world is still crying too, man, and it can't get it together. I mean, if you got a cat for one day, man I mean, if you, say, say, maybe you want a cat for 365 days, right You ain't got him for 365 days, you got him for one day, man. Well I tell you that one day, man, better be your life. Because, you know, you can say, oh man, you can cry about the other 364, man, but you're gonna lose that one day, man, and that's all you've got. You gotta call that love, man. That's what it is, man. If you got it today you don't want it tomorrow, man, 'cause you don't need it, 'cause as a matter of fact, as we discovered on the train, tomorrow never happens, man. It's all the same fucking day, man."
-J.Joplin

another review
"I actually cried while listening to Me and God. Kryss sings with a passion that just ate into me and stirred up my emotions. Although I could not relate to the situation in the song, her voice expressed to me the hurt and frustration she was feeling. She sings in a unique way, her pitch isn't perfect and her voice is very raw, and this added to the passion she conveyed and the grip she had on my emotions."
